Challenges and Triumphs: The highs and lows of being in real estate last month

Like every career, being an agent has its fair share of peaks and valleys.

Let us tell you, last month was no exception. In an effort to always be transparent, we wanted to share a few of the highs — and lows — we faced last month.

HIGH — A first-time buyer was referred to us and together we found the sweetest spot! The best part? The condo is located just minutes from her new job. She closes and moves in just a few short days!

LOW  —  Our clients and us have been looking for the perfect home for several weeks. After many showing, we found the perfect one and submitted an offer! Unfortunately, after the home inspection, too many concerning issues were found so our clients had to back out of the deal. Back on the hunt!

HIGH — With the help of Instagram, an out-of-province buyer reached out and together we went on a virtual hunt for their perfect new home. After a few FaceTime showings, we found their perfect home! The entire process was executed remotely.

LOW — In real estate, there is always something new to learn! While it’s exciting to implement new systems to better serve my clients, it can be frustrating and challenging! We’re choosing to embrace the “newbie” phase.

We’d love to know – what were some of the challenges and triumphs you’ve faced and conquered recently? Drop it in the comments below!
